Last Sunday, my mum and I went out to the delicious Ortolana cafe for lunch. It's a fantastic little bistro which grows many of the ingredients it serves, calling itself a 'garden-to-table' dinning. However, the best part was getting desert. We went down a little alley next to the bistro and there was a lovely little desert shop called Milse. I went inside for a look and they had the most amazing deserts. There were little pastries with delicious fillings and gelato sticks of so many flavours but the macaroons were the highlight of the store. Each one hand made with many flavours including pistachio, mango, lavandar and salted caramel. My favourite was the salted caramel which was absolutely stunning. It was a just right combination of salt and caramel. We were so thrilled with Milse that we went back a second time that day!
